Fun for both adults and children ♪ What is Songkran?
This is one of Thailand's most famous festivals. It is also widely known as the "Water Festival" where people throughout Thailand throw water on each other.
It is the Lunar New Year in the Kingdom of Thailand and is the Chantrakati New Year celebration.
It is currently fixed by the government to fall on April 13th to 15th, and is a public holiday.
Many people travel to visit their hometowns, etc.
In addition, the period of about 10 days before and after Songkran is called Thesakhan Songkran, and although it is not a public holiday, festivals are sometimes held there.
Songkran is a traditional festival that celebrates the end of a 12-month solar cycle and the beginning of a new solar cycle in the sign of Aries.
Songkran originally involved the traditional custom of pouring water over Buddha statues, pagodas, and the hands of elders to purify them.
It has also become popular as a way to beat the heat during the hottest season of the year.

We look forward to your visit.
